PrintDOCTOR LFP®, a revolutionary workflow assistance (Pre-Op) program, manages and alerts the user in a number of different areas, saving time, aggravation, and money.

The features of the program include the following:

Basic Features

PrintDOCTOR LFP® will analyze files in a number of areas and display alerts that allow the user to make adjustments to the following areas.

	File Rendering- See a preview of all your files regardless if it was saved with or without a preview image.
	Resolution- The software displays the resolution of any raster component and makes recommendations to adjust the resolution to an acceptable minimum for better output quality based on your RIP or Preset settings.
	Color Space- files may contain colors in multiple color spaces (RGB, CMYK, etc.), the program notes that and makes recommendations based on “Preset” chosen
	ICC Profile Usage – Knowing what working space profile your files are created in can help in understanding how best to setup your RIP software for the most accurate output.
	Warning and Suggestions- Understand what is wrong with the rejected files and see recommendations on how to fix it.
	Spot Colors- Understand whether or not your print file has specific pantone or other types of spot color definitions.
	Font Identification- this Pre-OP Software will display any fonts that are resident in the file and display warnings if any of those fonts are not found in the font folder of the computer that is sending the file to RIP or Print.

Advanced Features

PrintDOCTOR LFP provides powerful tools that look beyond the basics and focus on management features involving cost projections and workflow management.

	Job Costing- PrintDOCTOR LFP® can instantly display cost information for every job that is processed, based on the ink and media that is being used. This is extremely helpful in calculating pricing for jobs and providing key accounting figures for costing.
	Hot Folders- The program can quickly distribute files to the next available printer with the use of its ‘Hot Folder’ technology. By defining a number of printers into a single Print Cluster, the user can save time and money by depositing a file into the hot folder and allowing PrintDOCTOR LFP to move the file to an available printer.
	Security Features- PrintDOCTOR LFP® provides different administrative levels and allows the administrator to control what the users at the basic level have access to. An example would be to prevent the user access to the job costing features.
